The name OALI is an acronym inspired by two words: "OAOA," meaning "happiness" in Maori, and "LIFE," symbolizing "life" itself. Founded in 2015 by Quentin and Caroline, OALI handcrafts each candle in their workshop in Huy, Belgium. Each ingredient is carefully selected to be both eco-friendly and safe for health. The wax is 100% natural soy wax, the wicks are made of cotton, and the fragrances, sourced from Grasse, are guaranteed free from CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction substances) and phthalates.

Additionally, the seeded paper labels are fully biodegradable. Made from recycled paper, they contain wildflower seeds, guaranteed GMO-free. The ink used is water-based, free of harmful chemicals. To sprout the paper, simply bury it in soil, water regularly, and watch as chamomile, poppy, and alyssum seedlings emerge.
