After years working in the surfing industry as eyewear designers, Clément (designer) and Pierre (engineer) decided to carve their own path by launching a brand that truly mattered to them. Their environmental awakening came during the harsh winter of 2013-2014, one of the most extreme in the past decade.

Successive storms accelerated coastal erosion and made surfing impossible for several months. As winter came to an end and the first surf sessions became possible again, the sight was shocking: over 300 km of beaches covered in plastic waste, fishing nets, and packaging—waste that would take between 500 and 1,000 years to fully decompose.

Faced with this environmental disaster, Clément and Pierre knew they had to act. Reducing plastic consumption and providing sustainable alternatives became their mission.
